In the last year of July, Omega was a part of something truly amazing stuffs. Solar Impulse completed the first ever round-the-world flight only powered by the sun on July 26th, 2016, .
Like the wright Brothers, a duo is once again renovating in the aviation industry. Pilots, Bertrand Piccard and Andre Borschberg landed the plane in Abu Dhabi and were greeted by Omega on the ground. In order to celebrate this wonderful achievement, the watchmaker recommended the grade 2 titanium Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Solar Impulse Limited Edition. 
The watch is powered by the multi functional quartz chronograph movement, OMEGA replica calibre 5619, and its grade 2 titanium outer case back is stamped with the Solar Impulse “Around the world” patch and engraved with the name of the timepiece as well as the words “TESTED AND QUALIfIED BY ESA” (European Space Agency).
